Israel has been in massive and consistent breach of its legal obligations for years bt even more so after 7 October. The question is what will 3rd party states do about this? The UK. Will there be consequences?
ICJ determined that Israel "ensure that the population of the Occupied Palestinian Territory has the essential supplies of daily life, including food, water, clothing, bedding, shelter, fuel, medical supplies and services" icj-cij.org/sites/default/…
@RonFilipkowski Shame! Shame on Downing Street, UK government, British officialdom for withdrawing press credentials of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. They should have told Trump that UK doesn't indulge such censorship (and to just suck it up).

Do you think that @Keir_Starmer and @UKLabour should call a definitive referendum on the UK rejoining the EU within this term of government?

@gunsnrosesgirl3 I was at the Tate (St Ives) a few years ago. Someone left orange peel on the cill of a tall, narrow window. People queuing for photos! 😂
visitor at the Guggenheim Museum took off a shoe and left it in the exhibition area.
Other visitors then lined up to take photos and admire it as an art installation
@secretHT1 I was a parent governor at a 700+ comp a few years ago… it took well over a year for me to be able to follow discussions at governors meetings, the acronyms were OTC! 😂 (off the chart - I made that one up!)
Teacher Hack:
When a meeting with teachers, governors or leaders feels like it’s going wrong, make up a new edu acronym.
Nobody will admit they don’t know it and there are so many it will be plausible.
Eg: If you take SGD into account, they’ve done brilliantly.
Déja vu vu vu all over again as 3700 people lose £200m ‘invested’ with unregulated 79th group in apparent Ponzi scheme bit.ly/45yLabJ@TheFCA was warned but said it could do nothing. People arrested deny doing anything wrong
@Annawatton The Greens don’t fully understand farming reality.
They love to talk about land.
We don’t need romanticism.
We need policies that understand farming and back the people who feed us.
I’ve responded to Jeremy Corbyn’s consultation on forming a new political party.
I’m prepared to support them but only on one condition: commit to rejoining the EU.
Brexit has gutted British farming, wrecked trade, flooded us with substandard imports, driven up food prices and handed power to corporate elites. Any party that refuses to confront that truth is just another Brexit party, no matter how left-wing it claims to be.
We don’t need another party dodging the damage. We need one that’s brave enough to fix it.

It was a beautifully brutal, skilful match, everything rugby union can be. I would not have been very disappointed had Oz won it, they were awesome. When the dust settles, their huge regret will be the limp performance in the 1st test, not 50:50 calls in the 2nd. #AUSvBIL
Here's a treat for fans of Ernest Shackleton's ill-fated Trans-Antarctic Expedition on The Endurance. This is a brand new clean-up of a rare colour paget plate, showing the frozen rigging of the Endurance in 1915, shortly before the ship sank beneath the ice. It was taken in colour by crewmember Frank Hurley 110 years ago and is not colourised.
@wesstreeting@wesstreeting Once you start giving, they just want more. A 28.9% pay rise over three years isn’t enough? Strikes after that show it’s less about fairness and more about greed. Time to draw a line.
Decisions I have taken mean that Resident Doctors have had a 28.9% pay increase covering the last three years.
These are not grounds for strike action.
And most BMA resident doctors didn’t vote to strike.
I will be meeting the BMA today.
