In 2008 oil prices his 147$ a barrel and the cost per litre in Canada averaged around 1.40$. It’s (being generous here) 110$ a barrel now and we’re expecting 2.40 a litre soon. Fuck carney, nationalize Canadian oil

Avi Lewis was correct when he said that Carney's gas tax cut would simply be pocketed by the big corporations. Prices went down a for a few days, but shot back up as companies took the tax cut for themselves Carney and his Wall Street buddies are laughing at us

@Mattxduchak adjusting both 2008 prices for inflation it would be 2.08 per litre with 218$ a barrel. The prices we’re seeing now with around 110 a barrel are completely psychotic
