With the talent involved, I do think the show itself will be great! Anything that gives comedians and writers work is good news. I hope I’m wrong, but I can foresee “SNL UK - What Went Wrong” YouTube essays in a couple of years.

I would hope they’d take a different approach with this and maybe they will. What TLC have done with Mock The Week has been great, full episodes on YouTube straight away. Can’t see anything close to that happening here.

We haven’t had to worry about this yet, because it’s all still relatively new and we have trained people in the workforce. But in a few years, surely there’ll be a massive skills gap and everything will be fucked?

Trying to articulate something about entry level and junior creative jobs being killed off as corporations offload tasks to AI. Thus disincentivising young people from getting creative qualifications because there’s no guaranteed career path at the end of it.
