You see recurrent versions of this everywhere, i.e. the idea people get more conservative as they get older. This is broadly true of exactly one generation blessed to grow up with shared prosperity and a welfare state that then decided no one else deserved those things.

Wasn't helped by missing the train from London by 30 seconds and having to buy new tickets for about £60, then having absolutely nobody check the damn things after.
Should have known then it wasn't going to work out 😂

Martin saying that Paul Cook had gone into the Notts dressing room to congratulate our players and wish them luck for the final is one of those things you have to appreciate. It is easy to be gracious in victory, being like that when you've just lost a playoff semi is 👏👏👏

On the way home last night, there was a fledgling magpie in the road, and, while not wanting to intervene, with cars going so fast and him nearly being hit we moved him onto the field by the road for his parents to help.
