@KindHeartedHunk @MelegReizinger I still don't understand why he just stood there, looked forward, had a completely blank face and even let him hold his hand? Maybe he just went into shock? I mean you have to do *something* lol

@MelegReizinger This is the other option. Either act like you’re in on the joke, or shut it down by being hard as fuck. Just being mugged off until security get involved gives people the ick

@TharriesYT Can't believe I'm defending her but Liz at least did win a leadership election in which MPs and party members voted in. Rishi was yeah, pretty similar circumstances to Burnham.

@baeckford @NadiaWhittomeMP What are we losing? I really don't think there was a great understanding over which councils actually did what, reducing democratic accountability. It increasingly seemed to be needless bureaucracy

@NadiaWhittomeMP Nadia is it not the case that the push for unitaries is misguided and short sighted? By losing the two-tier system all over the country we are really losing something

It's been announced that local authorities in Nottinghamshire will be reorganised into two councils from April 2028. I'm pleased that the government has chosen the option I supported, which will create a new Greater Nottingham Council. I think it makes the most sense for the city and the county, from a geographical perspective, an economic perspective and in terms of how services can be best delivered. Thank you to everyone who took part in the consultation.

@DobbySolanoNUFC He did look tired, but at the least you bring on Rashford for him not Konsa. Players started falling back 10 minutes before the first subs but it was on Tuchel to up the ante again with attacking subs, rather than feed into the retreating mentality. Players' & Tuchel's fault imo

I’m not Gordon’s biggest fan by any stretch, but taking him off was the moment we lost that game yesterday. Not only the goal scorer, literally the only outlet we have in terms of pace. I’d rather take Kane off. Genuinely schoolboy stuff by Tuchel.

@TeleFootball Well done Kane. Tuchel said he didn't think the quality was quite there but went overboard praising the players' mentality, and what did the very same reporter repeat to Jude? It certainly wasn't the second part.

Harry Kane has accused ITV and other World Cup broadcasters of trying to create division in the England squad as he dismissed the notion of a rift “When you are playing a game like that and to be asked a question five minutes after the final whistle, and he [Bellingham] didn’t really know what the manager has said, what do you want Jude to say? “It is easy to try and create this division – it seems like an English mentality, an English thing to do at these major tournaments." 🔗: telegraph.co.uk/football/2026/…

Wow, Nigel was right because he started baselessly speculating when explicitly told not to by the police. He got lucky and guessed right, meanwhile the police did the work and got the evidence. But no, no time to respect a dead woman or our judicial process, time to gloat.

You know what, Burnham needs to come straight out the gate and post constant videos exposing how disgusting this reform racket are. Blatantly using someone's death and the motives behind it to point score is just shameful. AND HE NEEDS TO SHOUT ABOUT IT! People need to understand

@GoodwinMJ Nigel Farage was right because he guessed, and it was far from an outrageous guess. A woman has been murdered for god sake and the police are obtaining evidence. This isn't a time to be point scoring, gloating about guessing the motive behind someone's murder. You are disgusting.

Were you hysterically demanding that Labour MPs should get more protection than other MPs when Joe Cox was murdered, or Tory MPs when Sir David Amess was murdered? I bet you weren't, so shut your fucking gob.
Zia Yusuf@ZiaYusufUK

Even now, AFTER counter-terror police are engaged, Reform MPs STILL have not been provided with police protection. The Labour Home Secretary has offered a “meeting” about security at an undetermined date in the future. The government does not care about Reform MPs’ security.
