DO SIPs WORK?
Of the 295 actively managed, diversified equity schemes with a two-year track record, 26% haven’t made any money in the last two years if you had started your SIP then, according to ACE MF data. Nearly 54% have failed to beat 5% returns. Just 1% of schemes have made returns in excess of 10% if you had started your SIP two years back.

Earlier this week, walked around the popular 7.5-acre Bandra Talao, a Grade II heritage lake that has been completely dewatered for the first time in recent memory at least as a part of a rejuvenation attempt by the civic body.
The urban waterbody is now a vast stretch of exposed mudflats and heavy silt deposits, with excavation machinery and pumps working through the remaining patches of sludge. Officials said the exercise marks phase one of the lake’s restoration, involving complete dewatering followed by systematic desilting. More below 👇🏻

After years of legal disputes, insolvency proceedings and operational uncertainty, BMC has formally moved ahead with a settlement framework for the SevenHills Hospital project in Marol, Andheri East.
A recent agreement was signed by BMC with a fresh partner, Capri Global Ventures Pvt Ltd. The latter will get equity-based support from Reliance Foundation, which manages H N Reliance Hospital in Girgaum, for SevenHills Hospital.
“The lease will be valid for 30 years from the date of execution and will automatically extend for another 30 years on identical terms. The agreement also allows for further extension beyond 60 years through mutual consent of the parties,” states a civic document.
