This will be my last full-time week on the core @helium team. I’ll be staying on as an advisor through the summer to help with a transition. I deployed my first Hotspot in late 2019, wrote my first HIP in 2020, and built community tools. That work is how I got pulled onto the core team. I didn't start on the inside; I started as a community member who wouldn't shut up. It's been 6+ years, the longest run of my career. Over that stretch, we iterated on PoC, migrated to @solana, evolved governance, and shaped the HIP process into something that gives this community a real voice in how the network runs. I'm proud of every bit of it. The next few months will be very good for the network. The shift is already happening: fewer distractions, clearer priorities, and a protocol shaped by the community and the HNT holders with the most at stake. That's always been my position, and it's the lens I'll keep watching through. I'm also giving myself some room to think, write, and get closer to hardware again: real devices, atoms, supply chains, weird constraints, and things people can actually hold. I'm not disappearing. Still holding HNT, still paying attention. I care about this network and I want to see it win. Thank you to everyone who's been part of this. What this community has built is real. See you in the Discord.

Proud of this one. We just raised $15M to build American-made chips for drones and robotics. For too long, the systems powering critical infrastructure have depended on fragile, foreign supply chains. We're rebuilding that foundation here in the U.S. A lot more to come!

@SamLew_89 Actually favorite rapper, and I have an insane personal story of starting as a huge fan up to spending a lot of time at his house when I was in my 20s. tldr, became friends with his younger brother Anthony.

@jayendra_jog Performance definitely a challenge. And you can get there eventually with UI polish but still not seamless.

shipping product with ai isn't as easy as everyone is saying our eng team ships daily with cursor, claude code and codex. after months of integrating ai into every workflow, here's the honest breakdown: what ai is genuinely great at: - scaffolding + boilerplate - refactoring - tests - documentation what ai still can't touch: - performance bottleneck root causes - complex consensus behavior - long-tail state growth & mitigation - validator coordination - production incident debugging the hard part nobody talks about: workflows are evolving weekly. tooling is fragmented. each model has different strengths. what works today is obsolete in two weeks. our playbook right now: keep the team lean, give engineers more scope, increase output per person. claude .md files are becoming essential. code review starts with cursor, escalates to a human. curious to hear about experiences from other founders.

Early adopters using agents are going to have a brief golden age of snagging hard to get restaurant reservations as soon as they drop. And then Apple will ship it as part of iOS and you'll never get a reservation again.
