Consul General attended the Kite Festival along with Mr. @SamOConnorMP, State Minister of Home Affairs; Ms Angie Bell, Federal MP and Mr Joe Wilkinson, Gold Coast City Councillor which was organized by Indian Community of Gold Coast (ICGC) to celebrate the 79th Independence Day of India. The event was attended by large Indian community and friends of India. CG also planted the saplings at the event to commemorate the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign of GOI.

Craig and Adam have been on the ground in Western Queensland. They’re part of our QBuild Disaster Response Crew helping locals get back on their feet after the recent weather event. With roads still flooded, the only way in was by chopper - but they’re determined to get the job done and so are we.
