@TourSwingsTommy The left arm folding that quick after impact is not a good sign.

@SamOFinancial Hi Sam
Sounds very much like the low point of your swing arc is incorrect, too shallow and bottoming out early … simple suggestion, go practice hitting down more with the low point under the ball for green side and little more in front for fairway ..practice to fine tune! 👍

@GolfDigest is there anyone out there that works on the app? it would be so good if the search function worked! many thanks
English

@dieworkwear are there any books that you think are worthy of reading for comprehensive menswear info? if not perhaps several in niches? thanks

@TourSwingsTommy if her and her caddy had any brains she wouldn’t have hit a wedge.
English

Anyone who has played golf knows how unbelievably difficult it is to hit a ball this high above your feet.

One of the best golf shots you’ll ever see👏

@GolfDigest one of the worst experiences ever with this app/website. can’t do a search and can’t get through to anyone to correct it. can’t even sign in anymore online. just a brutally weak effort from a company that supposed to represent the game.
English

@LouStagner not sure what you’re talking about to be honest. both tours play for money. the ryder cup is a separate event.
English

@TrendSpider @nothetadecay yes, charlie munger was famously a huge fan of technical analysis.
English

@GolfDigest the article on seve in this issue mentions how john jacobs and seve wouldn’t talk due to an earlier rift. this is inaccurate and any effort to look into the matter, or knowledge would have told you so.

Keegan Bradley is on the brink of career definition. 🇺🇸

@SamOFinancial @LouStagner No need to assume the loser’s a bad person—sponsor exemptions are just part of golf’s fabric. Rickie’s a great ambassador, and these calls often hinge on stats or timing, not character. Tough for whoever misses out, though!
English

While I’m a big fan of Rickie Fowler, I’m not a fan of him getting into the top 50 by being gifted a bunch of sponsor invites, including several to no-cut events with big points.
It doesn’t feel right.
Joe I@TourPicks
🚨On the cusp Rickie Fowler is currently projected 50th in the FedExCup, which would make him the last player in the field for the BMW if this stands. Fowler received sponsor exemptions into 7 tournaments this year, many no-cut, earning 318 of his 665 points in those events🤯 Jhonny Vegas, currently #51, received zero special exemptions this year. Not trying to be a hater, but this just is not fair.
English

@doglegpar3 all great rounds start with you being slightly unsure about one part of your game.
English

@bob_rlfot3 @LouStagner the loser in the scenario you’ve created is not a good person presumably?
English

Good things happen to good people, and Rickie Fowler is proof of that! I’ve seen his character firsthand. A mutual friend reached out to ask if Rickie could give a pep talk to a girls’ golf team before their state championship. Within five minutes, we had a response. Not only did Rickie show up to practice, but he stayed far longer than expected, inspiring the team. The girls went on to compete at states the next two years, and Rickie showed up each time to support them!
He also went above and beyond for a boys’ team member, inviting him to his home to pick out a driver from his garage. The boy’s father personally thanked me at the state championship that year. Rickie’s generosity and commitment to giving back have been consistent for years.
On top of that, he had a stellar -10 finish today, landing 6th place and earning his spot for next week’s FedEx Cup playoffs. Way to go, Rickie! Keep shining on and off the course!

@LouStagner It’s funny how many people don’t even understand the question
English

How many putts do you think tour pros make in this game?
In this game the typical tour pro hits 36 total putts.
Four putts from each of the following 9 distances:
3ft, 4ft, 5ft, 6ft, 7ft, 8ft, 9ft, 10ft, 11ft
(36 total putts)
Each putt is from a different spot across multiple holes.
If they played this game a bunch of times, how many holed putts would they average?
Remember, each game is 36 total attempts. So how many made putts do they average per game?

English

@NoLayingUp latest pod has a couple of egregious errors. Gary Evans has never played a Ryder Cup 😂 I believe KVV was thinking of Barry Lane. Also, British and English are not synonymous re: McIlroy.
English

@_d3f4ult @the_wilderless I’m so glad someone said this! A wonderful book.
