PS Ngeno owes Truphena Muthoni and Kenyans a public apology. According to Trupena, it’s Dr. Ngeno who allegedly frustrated Kenya’s newest national hero and denied her the chance to represent the country on a global stage. And why is it that the loudest “patriots” are always the ones wearing the biggest flag accessories? In Kenya it’s the flag bands, in Tanzania it’s officials rocking national-color ties as if patriotism is something you put on, not something you live by.
