@TfL Thanks for the info that’s helpful. It would be so helpful also if staff were equipped with this information so they could impart it to customers like me. Thanks.
Hi Sam,
Thanks for contacting us. There was an earlier trespass incident at Chesham, which has caused disruption and is likely the reason why some services are being cancelled. If you let us know where you are trying to go, we will be happy to provide you the fastest route.
Thanks,
EB
@TfL Why do you cancel Chesham trains amid the rush hour with staff unable to offer any reason other than it being the decision of the controller? No 18:22 from Farringdon, advised to go to Baker Street (none) or Harrow (none). What am I to do? I need to get home.
@TfL Why have you cancelled the 07:35 from Chesham to Aldgate, give no reason whatsoever, and still advertise ‘good service on all lines’? Now have to wait 32mins for the next one. Disgrace. Why? Answer for your actions.
@AvantiWestCoast strange how despite the heat all the passengers ready to leave on the 10:16 EUS-BHM today managed to get there in time, but the driver “was late coming into work” according to the announcement of the new one drafted in as we departed 25min late. Total failure.
@TfL 18:04 Finchley Rd to Chesham: where was it? Nothing on the board then the platform announcer said to take the immediate train to Harrow and resume our journey, but once there there were no Chesham trains either. What the hell? How is that satisfactory? 😡
@TfL Everyday on the Met line fast service southbound between Wembley Park and Finchley Road, the announcement incorrectly says “the next station is Northwick Park”, causing confusion. Correct info is an essential part of effective public transport, can you sort this out?
@TfL@MayorofLondon Today my 07:35 Tube from Chesham was delayed 15min before even travelling 1 stop. When it reached Chalfont the platform was deep with people. Then we got kicked off at Harrow. Tonight my 20:22 Farringdon-Chesham Tube was terminated at Rickmansworth. Disgrace.
@chilternrailway 13:38 Amersham to Marylebone. Must the driver sound the train horn every couple of minutes? It’s really unpleasant from the front (“quiet”) carriage. I’ve been on here 22min and it’s been sounded 8 times. For goodness sake, is there a child in the cab?
@chilternrailway Chiltern is an utter disgrace and clearly has nothing but contempt for its passengers. This is an hourly service on a Saturday. Two carriages!
@chilternrailway 10.43 BMO to MYB is a completely unacceptable, dangerously overcrowded 2-car train, already over capacity at SOL, and talk of being attached to another train at BAN will make no diff for ppl boarding at the always busy intervening stns!
@TfL can the platform announcer at Canary Wharf Westbound Elizabeth line SHUT UP. Pointless over-explanations of the driver ‘signing on’ at Custom House and then repeatedly saying what we can already see on the board. Just say it once and shut up I can’t take it!
@FCBCoffee Some feedback. Two staff at the Paddington station shop, tucked away behind the counter fiddling shout underneath the counter (couldn’t get their attention), loads of dirty tables needing clearing. Come on.
@TfL The most pathetic southbound service today on the Met line. 70min and counting to get to Wembley Park from Chesham, and still other trains go past me and are given priority. How you can call this a ‘service’ I don’t know. It must cost the economy millions in losses.
@TfL Why do you stop the Metropolitan line trains dead for 7min during the journey and say nothing to the passengers? The automated response saying ‘red signal’ doesn’t cut it when you’re waiting this long; the driver MUST communicate. Why is this service so @&£”
@TfL You put posters up at Baker St station telling us to put litter in bins, but I have just walked the length of platforms 1 and 2 and not found a single bin for my apple core and have had to deposit it on the platform.
@HarrisAndHoole Hi there. Any reason why your Eggs Benedict comes with just one egg? If I served that up to a friend or family they’d think I was being seriously stingy. There’s plenty of room for another on the toast.
