@6thgearmotorcyc I adore the SuperDuke and the Tuono. The one thing I’d add to either is a decent windscreen. The RSV4 motor is intense, but with decent wind protection it’s better. Same for the Duke. I own a Duke and have owned Tuono’s and RSV4’s. It’s a middle step between adv hell & sprts.
Saw the new Tuono during a visit to Fowlers of Bristol. What a machine! Not sure how I feel about the wings & too pricey for me. Maybe an older model would fit the bill. Yet another bike I need a test ride 😎👍
@6thgearmotorcyc I love the SuperDuke. I have a Duke 690R for city riding; that would be the bike I’d grab first if the garage was on fire. The SuperDuke is that, with 9 times the horsepower.
Visited Motorbikes 4 All in Newent last week in the continuing search for the next bike. I was surprised all the bikes have keys in the ignition & you’re able to sit on them & fire them up! 😂🔥 SuperDuke fits me btw & is a strong contender 💥🥊
If anyone is interested in buying one of these two gems please contact @the.bike.broker Andy is selling them on my behalf 😎👍 Both bikes are very special in their own right 🔥🔥 #Ducati1098#GSXR1000#ForSale
@mototingle The reviews (450MT) seem to focus on price, but the value proposition is better than the alternatives, you get more for your money, but the total package shifts the perception of especially new consumers. I’d argue that CF Moto is a massive threat to the Honda et al.
MV Augusta Superveloce ❤️ 🇮🇹
Nope, it’s 🇨🇳 QJ Motor Super 9
Inline 4, 921cc with a whopping 127Bhp at max throttle 💪
It’s about to be your fav influencer dream bike on YouTube around July August this year.
We have friends at the UK importer, all your fav names are there
@mototingle There’s always a silver lining, and to be honest after riding CF Moto’s latest offerings, I’m a bit tired of the negativity. The same stuff was said about brands like Hyundai, and even Honda back in the day. If someone is willing to inject capital and R&D into motorcycling…
Spent the day exploring dealerships! Sat on a SuperDuke & a Diavel, both were comfy, but the Diavel was ridiculously comfortable! Not decided on what to buy & I’ll do some test rides at some point, think I might even try a V4 Streetfighter 🤔 Just so much to choose from nowadays
@6thgearmotorcyc Agree with the Multi comments here (if you want to stay in the Spaghetti camp). I have one (‘13 1200s). I couldn’t live with the Diavel, found the position hurt my already damaged back. Also, I’m quicker on the MTS than I am on a Diavel. Also own many other bikes for short rides
Hope you’re having a ‘Good Friday’ 🐣I’ve been unsure about selling my 1098, but struggling with arthritis for the past 4 months has sealed the deal. Thinking of getting a Ducati Diavel!
Any other suggestions for a bike that's thrilling, stylish & easier on my joints? 🤓
@TotalMotorcycle I’ve had good experiences with Capital Motorcycles in Wellington, they’re good people and are MV A experts.
But I won’t buy other bikes from other dealers and I won’t let anyone else touch my bikes for servicing. If I can’t service it, I won’t buy it.
@JonAshman2 I like the 1290, they’re excellent. I have a middle ground, I still have fast bikes (litres and Zx14R plus Hayabusa’s), but for city / daily riding I have a KTM Duke 690R. Hasn’t missed a beat, and it’s the right weapon for city riding.
Almost a quarter of UK drivers admit they don’t feel confident sharing the road with motorcyclists, according to new research from insurance broker Carole Nash
@axisadman@maja_kenney Yeah, I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed. I once took a cast off because they wouldn’t let me race wearing a cast. Ended up breaking the same break, but longer recovery. Not smart.
I sat on my bike today. The one that caused the leg injury. We are still friends 😉
I can’t bend my right leg enough to get my foot in the pegs. Not yet!
It won’t take long, I’m more than half way there 💪🏼🏍️
@maja_kenney A friend broke his wrist last December riding trials, it needed a titanium splint. He’s at about 60% of the strength, but he’s gaining ground most weeks. Point is, recoveries are never straight lines, but you will get there eventually. Be kind to yourself meantime.
@maja_kenney I love mine as well. It’s my daily.
Keep up the content, and again, best wishes for your recovery. I’ve found I get stressed about riding after an injury, until I’m back on the bike and then it’s just normal and the worry goes away.
@maja_kenney The words “brave” and “stupid” are often interchangeable. :) You’re clearly a lot smarter than me. Nice KTM. Best of luck with your recovery.
@SamSeabourn That’s brave! I’m going to attempt driving the car this weekend.
I mean, I could ride a bike. One leg is plenty, right? 😜 I’ll wait a little longer.
