Now I'm two months from the wedding, and my entire bridal party is "gently suggesting" I find something more "classic." My mother-in-law offered to buy me a "proper" dress from David's Bridal. But when I put this on, I see my grandmother's garden, her stories about village celebrations, the culture she left behind when she immigrated. Yes, it's not a traditional white gown. Yes, people might whisper. But isn't a wedding dress supposed to make you feel like the truest version of yourself? I'm torn between keeping peace and keeping this dress that makes my heart sing every time I look at those embroidered birds.

@James_Treadwell I was just discussing the death of this man and the entertainment industry as a whole yesterday. The amount of pedophiles and abusers hiding in plain sight, but protected by those who know what they do, is beyond disturbing.

Finally, the sentencing comments [come with a warning, about as bad in detail as you could ever read] and an image that again I think shows how he was hiding in plane sight long before conviction, taking real pleasure in it. I don't think it was by chance judiciary.uk/wp-content/upl…

Now Watkins is dead, he can obviously no longer profit from any royalties from the streaming of his music. Despite the fall off in listeners that no doubt followed his conviction, I suspect he still got significant income from it. I wonder if that will change now?

@jet2tweets sat waiting in the hotel from hell in Pathos, waiting for a rep to ring and move us. Thousands spent on a 4* hotel for a room I wouldn’t let my dogs sleep in as so tatty and damp. Been awake over 26 hours now. Please someone help. I’d rather fly home than stay now.
