Two months have passed since the launch of Clippy on pump.fun It was backed by the man who created the original clippy, an icon many of us grew up with, whether we appreciated it at the time or not The journey since then hasn’t been straightforward There were highs There were lows And there were moments that tested us more than we expected We encountered deceit, theft and at times outright betrayal Experiences my teammates (@topblaster, @6ixfrom6ix, @Qvist_dev, @CorleoneTx, @SamSunTQ, and @spid3yonsol) and I had to navigate together It wasn’t easy But we kept going Not out of stubbornness, but because we believed in what we were building Carrying Clippy’s legacy on-chain felt meaningful to us and that was reason enough to continue And in the end it proved to be worth it We generated around 160k in creator fees for Kevan and in doing so made a real difference in his life That was the promise we made And it’s the promise we’ve kept Along the way we showed something that often gets overlooked: Solana isn’t only a place where extractors succeed There are still people here who build with intent, who believe in creating something that goes beyond themselves A good example of that is $LEGEND, who used creator rewards to build a school in Nigeria (shoutouts to the team) These aren’t the stories that usually get the spotlight But they are the ones that matter So this is a simple message to you, @a1lon9 and to the pump.fun team: Take a closer look at the communities that are trying to build something real The ones that aim to create actual impact They’re here And they’re worth paying attention to Thank you for reading
