Someone is going to claim the entirely understandable contempt for Wes Streeting is a class issue and it's fine to ignore them.

Hard to find the right words for what is happening today. Shambles and chaos seem too understated.

Is there a good app for learning, like, a variety of things? On memrise I learnt lots of capital cities, football grounds, physiology, medical prefixes, yadda, yadda. It's gone subscription only as Brainscape, so I'm after a similar app.

Breaking: Reform has suspended new Sheffield councillor Nathaniel Menday, after further social media posts were uncovered by my colleague @finnsmithjourno for the @SheffieldStar which included a huge photo of a Nazi flag with a swastika on it and a photo of Hitler's Mein Kamf.

The next Labour leader must move decisively away from the status quo to beat Reform. That means giving power and wealth to working class people. It means a democratic revolution, rent controls and public ownership of water. It means someone who isn't Wes Streeting.

There are candidates with whom I disagree politically, like Wes Streeting. Then there are candidates that provoke a visceral feeling of disgust in me who I regard with extreme prejudice, like Wes Streeting.
