@bjc5473 @ArunBaksi Amazing idea. We will need 5 huge warehouses, one for each region. I case of a disaster , we want no Hospital more than 40mins away. Lets aim for 99.7% of all of the items the NHS uses to come via those warehouses. Huge bulk buy deals.

@ArunBaksi All purchased should be done through a central ordering depot. Owned & administered by the NHS. No third party ordering costing far more than it should be. An Amazon style warehouse where every hospital puts in it’s order & delivered as needed.

In the UK NHS, hundreds of millions of pounds are lost annually due to fragmented purchasing, price variations for identical items, and administrative inefficiencies. Add to this the daily waste in each hospital and Boards
