On this day in 1985, Barnsley's game with Portsmouth at Oakwell in Division 2 the game was one of very few to survive because of freezing weather across the country. MoTD cameras redirected to Barnsley and despite snow on the pitch, the lines were swept and the match went ahead. Pompey went in front late in the 1st half when a near post corner ended up in the net but after the break Winston Campbell and Rodger Wylde gave the Reds a 2-1 lead only for centre-back Noel Blake to again score late in the half and earn Pompey a 2-2 draw. #BarnsleyFC #Pompey youtube.com/watch?v=ACH6Aj…
