Need a bit of distraction today. If you know you know.

The most annoying thing about this post is that basically every other word is in capitals 😬😬 it made it really hard to follow lmao

I used to wonder why these dudes were so obsessed with single moms if they weren't going to date them until I realized they do want to date them, but they want the women to be on their knees begging for a crumb of decency they may flick their way.

@ask_aubry My girlfriend said I am good listener and something else that I can’t remember

@AmysMargin My dad still calls oranges “ontonges” and duvet “day-voo” because that’s what I said as a small child 😂

@747Retired @JPBen4 @ask_aubry A couple of people have said that!! I might do! I’ve never made my own Christmas cards before, but I took a few photos of her in the tree the other day that were really sweet 🥲

@ask_aubry I'm still dying to know how the photographer got a picture with the cat looking at the camera. Incredible.

@Sam__ACNH @KBGFLA @hello__caitlin It’s not cooked. It’s brined in a salt brine for a few weeks. It retains the raw texture but is safe for consumption.
English

Schools can already do this. It’s up to schools. This isn’t news

@KBGFLA @hello__caitlin I assume by this that lox is smoked salmon (we don’t call it lox in the U.K. we just call it smoked salmon) but raw salmon is like… just the fish? (The way you’d get a sea bass or something, to cook)
English

@hello__caitlin They aren’t the same? 😳 Thank goodness I don’t care for salmon

@TeacherBusy Oh my goddddd that is so precious 🥲🥲 I work in a SEN school and honestly love these moments!

@MissSDoherty I know in the school I’m at (I’m a TA), PPA is one day a week for teachers and they can do it from home. In fact, I think most of them do. Didn’t realise that it wasn’t standard practice!
English

This really should be standard practice in primary schools. I see no reason why PPA can’t be done at home or off site if teachers want to. I am much more productive when I WFH.
Tes magazine@tes
Schools could group PPA time to allow teachers to work from home once a week, according to a new government-commissioned report tes.com/magazine/news/…
