The commoditization of software changed startup GTM forever. Most founders used to ask: “How do we build the product?” Now the real questions are: -Building moat -Generating non-commoditized PNL -If we are a commodity, how do we distribute better than everyone else? Traditional SaaS is starting to look less like tech and more like a coffee shop.

Amazing how many Alt-X competitors don’t even have live and downloadable excel products— if you have no version that is open to the public you will lose, I guess i should be glad that they are lost on this fact.
