This is Mick Cronin’s emergency problem Southern CA remains full of great players. These guys used to have to be talked out of UCLA Now they go to Arizona and Gonzaga and wherever else

That’s it. UCLA looked like mid-season UCLA tonight—Dent lost his mojo and the offense went to pieces on multiple fronts Huge offseason for Cronin and his program

@DerekBowe7 Eric Olen is right man to lead ucla but unfortunately this will end up like Ben howland they going to keep mick for a couple more years UCLA will struggle and then they will fire him

A lot can be said why UCLA lost this game, but all in gonna say is I'm sick of UCLA feeling like the gutsy little Bruins. Something needs to change, they should be giants of the NCAA, one of the top 3 every year, that's all I'm gonna say... Forever, Go Bruins 🐻

Eric Olen is a fantastic coach. But he has never coached east of the Rocky Mtns. I have no doubts he can do everything needed to be a HM coach but does he have a single east coast AAU or prep school coach on speed dial?

Here's the quote from Dr. Scott on how they plan to use automation/AI to help them in the portal. I struggle to see why they're getting dunked on for this. I'd be shocked if other big time programs aren't doing this already. And again, if they're not now, they will soon.

City Section football is in crisis stage. No Angelo Gasca. No Lorenzo Hernandez. Robert Garrett remains on administrative leave for ninth month. Need some young coaches with teaching credentials to step up and lead the City out of this crisis stage.

@Mike_Bundt One could argue that at that time and place they were right he was not mature enough because he got more seasoning at Alabama before he got his first head coaching job

At one point in time, UB basketball chose not to hire Bryan Hodgson because they didn’t believe he was mature enough to be a college head coach. Fast forward seven years and he’s 70-36 in three years as a head coach at Arkansas State and South Florida and just guided USF to their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2012 and first conference tournament title since 1990. Hodgson is likely going to have his choice between the Syracuse/Providence jobs or staying in Tampa. He likely wouldn’t have stayed in Buffalo long but what a mistake by UB never giving him a chance back in 2019 and they’re still facing the consequences to this day.

@chriscfore I remember the principal would walk the graduating student around the campus and throw confetti as a way to celebrate them and encourage others that it can be done at the continuation school I went to

I'm a Principal at a continuation high school, so when kids earn all of their credits to graduate, it just means more! And we like to celebrate them! They leave their handprints on a wall, their mark on our campus! Each story is unique! Each story ends this chapter in success!

My message to Nick Saban and everyone who sat at that roundtable: while the country is dealing with war and Americans are dying, you’re in a room trying to figure out how to limit what college athletes can earn from their own Name, Image and Likeness. Stop pretending it’s about protecting the game. It’s about protecting the system.
