SAUDI NORMALIZATION SIGNALS EMERGE Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman reportedly told Trump ally and evangelical leader Mike Evans that he was ready to recognize Israel immediately, but claimed his father, King Salman, remains the main obstacle preventing normalization, according to The Jerusalem Post. According to Evans, the Saudi crown prince expressed support for deeper ties with Israel during a private meeting attended by senior Saudi officials. He also reportedly criticized Palestinian leadership and rejected proposals to divide Jerusalem into two capitals.

Saudi Arabia expecting Israel to give up sovereignty over half the country in exchange for “normalization” can go fly a kite. If adding Saudi Arabia and Qatar to the Abraham Accords requires Israel to cut itself into pieces and make concessions that endanger its own existence, then maybe Israel should stop chasing these deals altogether. Israel survived 77 years without Riyadh’s approval. It will survive without it for another 77. Woof. The announcement by President Trump about the potential peace deal is very good news. To make the deal effective we have to be realistic about Israel. We must recognize that a peace deal of any kind with the Iranian regime will be viewed by Israelis as an existential threat to their objectives, therefore they will seek to thwart the deal. To stop the Israelis from thwarting a potential peace deal, we will have to take away the military support that we provide that allows them to go on the offensive against Iran, and make it clear more will be taken from them if they attack Lebanon.

He's charged with illegal transport of human tissue. The embryos are in evidence. The question nobody's answered yet: whose embryos were they, and who was waiting for them in Mexico?
