I am receiving calls from multiple Shia dominated parts of Kashmir regarding today’s donation drive for the rebuilding of Iran, an initiative undertaken following the appeal of the Iranian Embassy in Delhi (@Iran_in_India). The Kashmiri people, especially the Shia community, have massively come forward with deep faith and devotion, considering it their moral and religious duty to stand with Iran a nation already facing sanctions and the hardships of war. This response is rooted in the teachings and legacy of Shaheed Ayatullah Syed Ali Hussaini Khamenei (RA), whose life and sacrifice continue to inspire resistance, unity, and support for the oppressed. However, concerns are being raised as some individuals involved in the collection process are reportedly receiving calls from various authorities seeking details about the funds, collectors, and contributors etc At this sensitive moment, it is important to reassure everyone that these donations are purely for a humanitarian and religious cause, meant to support the people of Iran in their time of need. The emotions of the people are deeply involved, and any unnecessary pressure or questioning may hurt public sentiment. I urge the authorities that such matters be handled with understanding and respect, allowing this collective act of faith and solidarity to continue with dignity. The Iranian Embassy in New Delhi has also officially thanked the people of India, especially those from Kashmir, for their love, solidarity, and generous support in this difficult time.
