When I moved back to Kolkata after spending decades outside, many of my well wishers told me - I am making a bad choice as “Bengal is dead”. I have experienced the slowness of progress and lack of opportunities first hand here. But since yesterday, I am again hopeful. I will make a forecast based on my faith in @BJP4India. In next 1-2 years, the IT firms and Industries will start booming again in West Bengal and we will start seeing our friends, family and juniors who had to go outside West Bengal for jobs, will start returning back gradually as doors of opportunities will open now. 🙏

- Rekha Patra was victim of Sandeshkhali mass gang rape by TMC men. She defeated TMC candidate by 5000+ votes. - Ratna Debnath is mother of RG Kar hospital rape & murder victim. TMC attempted shield the culprits. Ratna defeated TMC candidate by 28,000+ votes - Kalita Maji is a maid who worked at four different houses to sustain her life. She was harassed by TMC workers regularly for supporting BJP. She defeated TMC candidate by 12,000+ votes. Democracy is alive and kicking in India. Anyone who disagrees is just a chatukar of politicians who lost today.

Geographically, it should have two. India stretches ~29 degrees of longitude east to west. That’s enough for almost 2 hours of solar difference. In summers, sunrise in Arunachal Pradesh is at 4:30 am IST, while in Western states like Gujarat, it is at 6:30 am IST. India is plausibly losing 1.5–3% of effective productivity annually because IST is misaligned with solar time for about 40% of the population. That translates to losing about ₹3–6 lakh crore per year at today’s GDP levels. Mostly it impacts the 450-500 million people living in Eastern & Northeastern India. East India is effectively living in permanent social jet lag.
