West Bengal is the economic spine of eastern India. It has Kolkata - India's 3rd largest city. Has Haldia port. Proximity to South East Asian trade routes. On paper, Bengal should be the Singapore of South Asia's east. Instead, it exports its youth to Surat, Pune, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai.
The communist legacy that TMC inherited & amplified after ousting the Left Front is keeping the eastern region a laggard.
For Eastern India to rise, Bengal must fall.

Had to hang a TV on the wall today. Checked UC and it was ₹ 818/-
I thought to myself, “it’s a Sunday. I could do that”.
Asked dad to help me out with it.
Drilled holes, installed the wall mount and hung the TV. Perfectly level in the first attempt.
Dad and I are happy and shake on the job well done and then he says, “chal ab beer ke paise bach gaye” 🍺
