The Assistant Auditor General-Audit Mr. James Bantu, representing the Auditor General has officially opened the AFROSAI- E Main Study Module training in Performance Audit hosted by SAI Uganda in Entebbe. Mr. Bantu implored participants to effectively use the time to learn new skills which they will use to enhance the quality of Value for Money Audit reports. The event was attended by the Assistant Auditor General- Corporate Mr. Stephen Kateregga and members of Top Management. Participating SAIs include, The Gambia, Angola, Malawi, Uganda and African Union.

@ArimiEgunyu, Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs, NSSF: Today, pupils are back in classrooms, yet the demand for digital learning has not faded; it has merely taken on a new form. In many parts of the world, even in Uganda, children are already learning coding, robotics, and other skills vital for the future workforce. Sadly, some particularly those in rural areas remain at a disadvantage.

This morning finds us at St. Kizito Primary School, Mpigi, for the launch of the eClass Project, a transformative initiative designed to promote ICT adoption and empower learners with enhanced digital literacy through e-learning. In partnership with @WorldVisionUg and @UCC_Official, this project will be piloted in 13 schools across Uganda, marking a bold step toward preparing the next generation for the digital future. As we celebrate NSSF Customer Connect Week and 40 years of serving Uganda, we remain committed to making a better life for our community not just today, but for generations to come.

Mr. James Bantu, Assistant Auditor General -Audit representing the Auditor General has delivered the Report and Opinion of the Auditor General for the period ended 30th June 2025 at the 13th @nssfug Annual General Meeting.

The Auditor General, Mr. Edward Akol has held an entrance meeting with BDO East Africa, an independent  Auditor appointed by Parliament to audit the Office of the Auditor General for the Financial Year ended June 2025. In attendance was the Assistant Auditor General- Corporate Services, who doubles as the Accounting Officer, Mr. Stephen Kateregga and Department Heads.
