A designer asked how to post visual work without attracting more designers. Good question. Because if you just share pretty mockups all day, you'll build an audience of people who want to learn from you... not hire you. The fix is framing. Instead of "here's some prototyping from a recent project," add context that signals authority. "Recently did some prototyping for a New York-based dining app. The challenge was improving their booking flow... here's what we landed on." Same work. But now there's a story. A client --> a problem --> a result. You can also borrow authority from your clients. If they're a well-known brand, mention it. If they raised funding, mention it. If they have a big user base, mention it. You're basically transferring their credibility to yourself. Putting them in the best light... which reflects back on you. TLDR: - Don't just show work, tell a story - Leverage what makes your clients important to make you look important too

To my Abuja people. Please watch out, there are lot of angry looking Iranian appologist out here, they now discuss their plans in public vehicles without fear who hears, thus using Hausa most times in regards to this US vs Iran war. One said and I quote "walai instead of Iran to lost this war make we chop every Arne father in this country" This is not some random exaggeration, I am talking about well dressed educated fellow here, some talks of plans which we might not know. Many walk around with daggers, horns and other weapons in their keke, motor cycles, cars not to talk of those selling pure water. A sorry case of how some pure water guy threaten my girl friend on her way back from work and a policeman behind her took the matter personal, searched them and discover different weapons. I am scared out here, you need to be and be vigilant. Please retweet and share let others see this.
