@harrisonelse11 @AllVenkysOut @callumm_7 @AjBRFC Most we've had in the last 15 years... Late winner at Doncaster in League 1 to secure promotion back to the Championship. Sammy Szmodics single handedly dragging us out of relegation. That's it. The 20 years before that, Sunshine & Rainbows.

If Rover of the Year was concluded right now, who would your top three be, in order? Not been the best season, but there have definitely been a couple hidden gems along the way. #BRFC | #Rovers

@MillwallDan85 Id we do stay up, I think it will be more down to the teams around us being bad - rather than us being good! Going down might not be the worst thing for us, I think a lot of deadwood would leave / be pushed out. If we stay up, owners probably think everything is fine.

@SamuelCarrID Yep that’s it - you just hope that it evens itself out when it matters. We probably had some great luck against Hull last weekend, so obviously it’s gone the other way today. Both times poor decision making from the ref though. You think you’ll have enough to stay up?

@OCk78285 @BigsbySZN_1875 I think he'd have plenty of suitors in the Championship/overseas so wouldn't see him sticking around... Because you're right, he'd be streets a head in League 1.

Who would you want to stay at the club next season? (Not including youth) Toth Ribeiro Carter Pratt Tronstad Hedges Everyone else should be sold/released and we completely start again. 90% of this squad wouldn't make a league 2 team. #rovers

Colossal blow to lose Tronstad long-term and an unfitting way to bow out, if that is him finished in a #Rovers shirt. One of the club’s best signings in the last decade. A warrior, leader and a fantastic player 🏆 Completely gutting.

@_ElliottJackson One of my favourite signings in recent years... He has that attitude in defense that we've missed for years. Captain material. The timing is so gutting with the World Cup coming up.

#Rovers confirm worst fears that Lewis Miller has ruptured his Achilles. Looking at a long lay-off, ruling him out of this season and the World Cup. Underwent surgery today. A real blow for him and the team.

@DeadlineDayLive Chelsea made the best decision both for the player and for the club... Dortmund was trying to tap the player, get his head turned and then buy for cheap! Chelsea is smarter,we won't be beaten TWICE by the same tactics!

🚨😳 The Aarón Anselmino situation is sparking SERIOUS questions about modern player management and multi-club ownership: 🔸 Chelsea signed him in summer 2024 and left him on loan at Boca Juniors until January 2025 🔸 He played ZERO minutes for Chelsea’s first team during the 2024/25 season 🔸 With no room in the squad, Anselmino was loaned to Borussia Dortmund in summer 2025 🔸 He broke into the Dortmund side, earned his spot and began to settle 🔸 January 2026 arrives and Chelsea search for a centre-back — but fail, missing out on top target Jeremy Jacquet 🔸 After failing to sign a centre-back, Chelsea TERMINATE Anselmino’s loan at Dortmund on January 26 🔸 Anselmino left Dortmund in tears and returned to London, believing he will now play for Chelsea 🔸 Once back, he’s told he still won’t stay — and on Deadline Day is loaned to Strasbourg, while Chelsea recall Mamadou Sarr from Strasbourg

@ChrisLindop6 @NYCRovers I think he works well with Gudjonsen. He reminds me a lot of Okazaki, pressing the back line, doing a lot of the dirty work pulling defenders out of place. As a pairing with an out-and-out number 9 like Andri it works. As a lone striker that doesn't work.

@NYCRovers Strikers are judged on goals, nothing more nothing less, so he needs to be sold in the summer and we need to go back to the market. Great guy, good work rate but very poor in front of goal!

@TheFLZone @Ryan1151 There's some good top half Championship quality: Tronstad, Cantwell, Alebiosu, Wharton, Carter, Toth, Gudjonsen etc Problem is zero depth behind them + injuries. Also only about 4 players with mental fight in them, and 2 of them are on the list above, and they're both injured.

What a way to kick off 2026. It 2025 is anything to go by, we are in a for another abysmal effort of running our club. 2025 in review. Eustace walks in February after a disastrous transfer window. Woodrow and Dennis were two of the worst signings we have ever made. This time was pivotal. It divided Ewood Park. Senior players made their minds up at this moment. Women’s Team was pulled and was covered nationally and via The Athletic/New York Times. “Every question that anyone asked on the call was met with ‘We can’t speak about that yet’,” a source said. “They were unapologetic. They said not to speak to anybody, we were still under contract. It was like speaking into a vacuum.” According to sources, the club initially planned on announcing the news via a statement on social media at 4pm on Tuesday, almost immediately after senior management were told of the decision, but agreed to first-team coach Simon Parker’s request for a delay in making the decision public so that players could be informed personally and not find out about it on social media. Our Ladies team is now bottom of Division One North. Having lost 0:12 and 0.13 to Burnley during the season. Steve Waggot left his post shortly after the Ladies team debacle. In my opinion, he was done taking the heat. As Suhail said in the Fans Forum, it was the owners decision. Alan Nixon, who is the number one communicator from Ewood Park, a freelance journalist, stated the new CEO role was “watered down”. No actually Chief Executive wants to be dictated to by Suhail. Who’s only interest is himself and if the Issa brothers send him a birthday card. Mass Redundancies throughout the club. In August banned Ismael from talking to the media. Same thing happened in 2024 with the previous manager JDT. Not the New Year’s resolutions we want you to keep. Lewis Travis sold - no adequate replacement Callum Brittain sold - good replacement Dom Hyam sold - no adequate replacement Harry Leonard sold - no adequate replacement There is an obvious lack of leadership and quality throughout the squad. We face another Summer of upheaval with players leaving. Valerian Ismael tells Rovers TV that the squad is stronger than the start of the Summer. This tune has now changed. September Game Called Off against Ipswich. Lancashire Telegraph was banned from Ewood Park. The pathetic nature of the first statement led to another hours before the game against Charlton. Amateurs. Cheap and cheerful was the order of the day to celebrate our 150th anniversary. Jersey leaked on a third party site. What better way to sum up a celebration. Blackburn Rovers Supporters call for a boycott. The club decide to ignore and boycott their own fans. Sheffield Wednesday game abandoned. Alan Nixon is back to tell us that the pitch was looked at by Specialists. Thank god. The club then said the same thing. Taking no responsibility. Thank god for Alan. Wonder who leaked that, excuse the pun. Anniversary shirt is announced on the Monday after Christmas, after the anniversary and will be debuted in our 151st year. Report Card Raos- F - They have no interest in Blackburn Rovers Suhail Pasha F - A virus to Blackburn Rovers Rudy Gestede E - A couple of good signings give him an extra grade. He hasn’t replaced the leadership or quality. And is still incapable of protecting assets with new contracts. Yasir - F - Season tickets, 150 anniversary and anniversary kits were pathetic. Rob Gill - F - Another year of embarrassment in the media. As many statements as home wins. Banned the local media. 2026 Wishes Suhail Pasha leave and takes the rest of his buddies with him. New CEO given the attomoney to do their job Investment to the Ewood Park Pitch Survival this season The Raos sell The club is spiralling into oblivion. I expect a few leaks of transfers within 24 hours of this.

Brady Cook’s 28.6 PFF grade is the worst single-season grade among all QBs with at least 150 dropbacks in the PFF era (since 2006). PFF has also charted Cook with 1 big-time throw (BTT) and 13 turnover-worthy plays (TWP) this season. That 1-to-13 BTT-to-TWP ratio is also the worst among all QBs with at least 1 BTT in the PFF era. Cook has legitimately been one of the worst QBs in recent NFL history. It’s been tough to watch.
