The Sudanese paramilitary Rapid Support Forces says it has captured the army headquarters in the besieged city of Al Fashir. Al Fashir is the Sudanese army’s last stronghold in the Darfur region in the west of the country. @YousraElbagir reports. trib.al/kdXA2Dr

Volunteers say residents are dying daily, and bodies lie unburied in the streets as bombardments make cemeteries inaccessible. “We are witnessing death every day. The wounded have no medicine, and there’s nothing left to eat,” said volunteer Ali Suleiman from inside the city.
