@Vynien Truth be told, this is actually done in 3D space. So there is no proper pixel pixel art processes going on except nearest neighbor filtering.

@BunBo60 The agent is separate from the graphics, so i just move the graphics in Y with abs(sin(distance travelled)) or something like that.

Can you tell me how you handle the troops' movement so that they slightly hop up and down while moving?

@jrysana They try to move perpendicular in the closest axis to the target. But would be fun to add vector fields and area avoidance.
