finallyyyyy!! 😭😭 i just completed the JavaScript course by SuperSimpleDev. 🥹 total of 18 lessons. I’m proud of myself, mehn. I didn’t start with HTML and CSS. 😂 JS was harder, so I decided to learn it first. I learnt a bit of HTML and CSS here though, but I’ll start them properly tomorrow. keep learning guys, you never know when it’ll come in handy. Solace is about to become a dev. 🙂‍↔️😂

Hard work > Talent Smart work > Hard Work Consistent hard work > smart work Consistent Smart work >hard work But you gotta do hard work to learn what smart work is. And you gotta do it consistently to even see it work to begin with.

@kr0der It's Gemini for frontend, 5.4 xhigh for everything else. Opus 4.6 is kinda in the middle ground. Worse at backend than 5.4 xhigh, worse at frontend than Gemini 3.1 Pro

look, i love GPT 5.4 a lot, i use it for 99% of my tasks. but you’re telling me to write an entire design spec WITH screenshots, colour palettes, user stories, copy, and more when i can go to Opus 4.6 and say “use frontend design skill, make it look nice” and still get a better frontend. at some point you just gotta admit that Opus 4.6 is ahead by quite a bit in frontend. it’s kinda like when people were setting up 25 ralph loops just to get Claude Code to run as long as Codex can by default. now we’re writing up design books just to get Codex to do frontend. just use Opus for frontend until the next GPT model.

It might sound funny, but I only started hearing about tools like Claude AI after I became active on Twitter around late January. I kept seeing stuff about “antigravity,” so out of curiosity, I decided to download the IDE. Honestly, till date, that’s been one of my worst installs on my Mac. I had to switch back to VS Code. Still yet to see an IDE that can beat VS Code, its simplicity and lightweight nature are the real selling points.

I CAN SHOW YOU HOW TO VIBE CODE THE FRONTEND WITHOUT MAKING IT LOOK OBVIOUS. a thread, stay with me. a month ago, i posted a website i built for a cement manufacturing company, brightcement.com 100% vibe coded. i intentionally told people to criticise it, guess what..?

It's crazy how Google and OpenAI have different focus, Codex in the CLI is focused on increasing the speed for better user experience but Gemini is focused on making Gemini CLI as slow as possible for a worse user experience. This also applies to Antigravity. Google is very insistent on making Gemini as slow as possible even with TPUs.

@Austen This is very false, Gemini is the most used AI model by all metrics to the point of them being compute restrained that they now make it slow for everyone.

Honestly Google sucks at marketing its AI products. Gemini and family are dramatically underhyped for how good the models are. Partially because they don’t have a charismatic leader, partially because they’re buried in 18 layers of confusingly named Google enterprise bloatware.

I have switched to Cursor, and I'm happy with it. Although the $20 Pro plan is a joke if you're using Opus 4.6. Didn't get me through a day of work. I have enabled overages, but I'll be switching to the $60 Pro+ plan before the next billing period. I'm pretty happy with it, and I don't see myself changing editors anytime soon.
Titanium@akinkunmi

Antigravity is a very stupid app. You can't even do 2 hours of serious work before hitting the limit, and you have to wait for 5 DAYS or switch to a less capable model?????? Fucking bullshit!!!!

Holy shit. I'm cancelling my Google pro subscription. Antigravity has been so unusable lately. If you had $20, which of these subscriptions would you choose? -Cursor pro -ChatGPT pro (Codex) -Claude pro (Claude code) -Stay with Google pro (Antigravity)
