With the shelves removed for pyrolytic cleaning, Bella seems to have found a new home. In the oven. I want it put on record that she went in of her own accord.

I see that the media are warning of a shortage of tea. Why do I have the feeling that the attacks on shipping causing this may have been orchestrated by a certain Mr Tetley, Mr P G Tips and Mr T Y Phoo, just to increase demand for their products?

Breaking my Twitter/X silence to say I'm a guest on this week's episode of Lateral with Tom Scott! It was great fun, I only embarrassed myself 10 or 20 times. I live over on Mastodon now at @danielpeake" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">mastodon.social/@danielpeake Oh also I wrote the puzzles for a book! waterstones.com/book/the-ordna…

@drowsyfire @Telegraph Hi Kim; you'll need to update the app to add Panagram -- there's an updated app version rolling out today. If it's not available for you yet in the app store or Play store, it should be soon. Hope that helps!

"Rapid unscheduled disassembly" may just be my new favourite ever phrase. I love Elon Musk.

Emma and I have our wedding anniversary today. Adopting the now traditional method of measuring such things, it's 19 Chelsea managers since we tied the knot.

Fantastic piece of trivia, number two. Gina Coladangelo, Matt Hancock’s bit on the side, is the great-niece of former goalkeeper and BBC sports presenter Bob Wilson. That’s another completely useless fact; but, again, I’m happier for having found it out.

Here’s a fantastic piece of trivia. Former Radio One DJ Janice Long and her husband were the winners of the first ever episode of the game show 3-2-1 in 1978. That’s a completely useless fact, but one that I feel much better for knowing.

@SueWoodroffe @Telegraph The “Hide completed clues” option can be turned on and off. If you click into the More icon in the top right of the screen (indicated by three dots), you’ll see it as the final option (screenshot attached). Hope that helps.

@SamuelTheSetter @Telegraph This is especially annoying in Cross Atlantic when some clues are completed by filling in other words. Frustrating and annoying as can’t look back and compare answer and clue! 2/2
