Update: didn't quit... re focused, studied, added couple things, took many things off.. still make stupid and retarded stuff every day, but I have the confidence ill be at ATH again soon.

Another red day, another day in DD… after a great 2025 multiplying account by 40x I now am 99% sure I will quit. Long story short, I seem to not have edge anymore, so should at least quit while I’m still ahead for the moment. Toughest of times. -65% from highs. Just being transparent as always.

@daytradingzoo @Samundana Cursor is just a money hog at this point. Since all AI's are pivoting into agent mode and nobody really looks at code anymore, their business model has been crushed by Claude Code and the Codex app.
Plus Anthropic and OpenAI, will subsidize the tokens you use on their platforms.

I built two pretty sick apps with Claude Code Max. Super happy with the result. The process was smooth. Only hit the time limit a few times.
Probably would have never been able to build the same tools with Cursor because for whatever reason, I always run out of API tokens with Cursor. Never have this issue with Claude Code.
I will try to build my next tool with GPT Codex app and see how I like that.

One of the issues I had with Cursor was that it would suddenly rewrite existing code in a major way - tricky when its only discovered hours later randomly 😆

@Samundana In Cursor I used GPT 5.3 Codex which is really really good at coding. But I feel Claude Opus 4.7 Max is an awesome all-rounder. Writes really decent good and is amazing at planning and design. Don't need to go back and forth for different tasks.

@SmallCapSmarts yep, PLYX effectively means that you now need to scale for the possibility of a 2000% loss which kills every risk adjusted stat. and it's getting more insane every day so next one might even be worse.

This is a very good illustration of an edge going away.
For me, edge has always meant risk-adjusted returns.
Returns may not be down that much, but the associated risk is significantly higher now.
