Unfortunately leaving NATO won’t be to avoid foreign entanglements, we’ll be leaving NATO so we can side with Israel when Turkey & Israel eventually clash in Syria. On Easter morning, this is what President Trump posted. Everyone in his administration that claims to be a Christian needs to fall on their knees and beg forgiveness from God and stop worshipping the President and intervene in Trump’s madness. You know who has nuclear weapons? Israel. They are more than capable of defending themselves without the US having to fight their wars, kill innocent people and children, and pay for it. Trump threatening to bomb power plants and bridges hurts the Iranian people, the very people Trump claimed he was freeing. On Easter, of all days, we as Christians should be reminded that the son of God died and rose from the grave so that we can be forgiven once and for all of our sins. Jesus commanded us to love one another and forgive one another. Even our enemies. Our President is not a Christian and his words and actions should not be supported by Christians. Christians in the administration should be pursuing peace. Urging the President to make peace. Not escalating war that is hurting people. This NOT what we promised the American people when they overwhelmingly voted in 2024, I know, I was there more than most. This is not making America great again, this is evil.

Israel is single-handedly dismantling the entire framework of international law, morality, and rules established by the global community since World War II; it is single-handedly destroying all diplomatic norms that have existed since the Westphalian system of sovereign states. It is single-handedly crushing the modern ethical system of humanity, dragging down the moral baseline of human society, and dragging humanity back into the barbarism of two thousand years ago. Israel is one of, if not the most, degenerate, barbaric, reactionary, regressive, indecent and dark regime humanity has ever witnessed in centuries. It has no connection to Western values; its moral standards are far below to those of Iran - the very country it strives to demonize. I don't think people understand the gravity of the situation as the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use in Iran. This is a picture of Tehran. The issue with the war in Iran is that even if ‘we’ win, ‘we’ don’t actually get anything. There are no benefits to the average American, while he must bear all of the costs.

Let's be honest about what the American bases in the Gulf actually protect. They protect the governments. From their own populations. This is not an accusation. This is the stated architecture of the security relationships. The American security umbrella is explicitly extended to protect the governments from external threats and, crucially, from internal instability. Meaning from the possibility that the population might decide it wants a different government. The deal is simple: You give us basing rights, access, intelligence cooperation, and compliant foreign policy, and we make sure you stay in power regardless of what your people want. This is why the Arab Spring was contained where it was contained and not where it wasn't. This is why certain governments survived 2011 and others didn't. This is why the American military footprint in the Gulf expanded, not contracted, in the years after popular uprisings showed what populations actually wanted. The bases protect governments from democracy. And those same governments, protected from democracy by American power, are using those bases to argue that Iran is the threat to regional security. The threat to regional security is the idea that Muslim populations should have a say in whether their governments normalize with Israel. The threat is the idea that the ummah's resources should be used for the ummah. The threat is the example of a government that said no to the arrangement and is still standing. That is the threat. Iran is the threat. Not to the people. To the arrangement. And the arrangement is using the people's land, and the people's resources, and the people's Islam, to protect itself from the threat.
