Maybe because I had the foresight to buy 4 tickets at the start of March when I had a feeling it might be a momentous day for the club I’ve supported for 55 years.

Healthy-looking Alan Brazil gives emotional update: “I was nearly gone… it’s a miracle.”
The 66-year-old talkSPORT legend looked noticeably slimmer and far healthier as he posted a video update from Suffolk, thanking fans for their support after life-saving NHS surgery.
Brazil told listeners: “I was nearly gone, I don’t mind telling you. But listen, it’s a miracle what’s happened. NHS, brilliant. I can’t thank the people at Cambridge enough they’ve saved my life.”
He confirmed he is “beginning to improve rapidly” and hopes to return to the talkSPORT Breakfast show in “a matter of weeks.”
The former Manchester United and Scotland striker has been off air for months after serious health issues. He previously had heart surgery five years ago.

Eddie Howe’s admiration for Aaron Ramsdale is well-documented, having now managed the shot-stopper at both Bournemouth and Newcastle. Even though Ramsdale finished the season on the bench following Nick Pope’s return, Eddie was quick to praise his keeper's immense locker-room influence: "I've really enjoyed working with Aaron again. I think he's an unbelievable lad. Every time that I've worked with him, I've always had a great feeling about his personality and what he brings to the group—very, very positive guy. A very frustrating season, and without a doubt we are all very disappointed. You fans definitely did not deserve this. But football doesn’t always go the way we plan.
Individually, I managed to have the season with the most goal contributions in my career, and I would trade all of that for a better position in the table.
