@Samwise7RPG
I'm a workaholic dad/husband who daydreams about tabletop RPGs. I tend to be a gaming generalist who blogs, doodles, and vlogs when I can.

@Samwise7RPG I never loved Jayne as a character but he had some of the best lines and moments.

@SnarkyFartBlast @bkgibsonwrites Leprosy and teleport mishaps have both been in my games.

@Samwise7RPG Let's be bad guys.

@YoDanno @Samwise7RPG I think they should avoid the door with the Medusa carving

@Nymdok @OGCrimsonJester Going in with low expectations is the key to happiness. :)

@Samwise7RPG @OGCrimsonJester We always hope for the best, but modulate our expectations :)

@Samwise7RPG Watched the complete series a few weeks ago.
My wife was not amused.
Her signature TV exclamation——Again!

@Samwise7RPG @NoContextHumans @elvenmaidinn @J0hnADouglas @YoDanno @frothyfriar Nothing but love FUZZYFOOT :) @Samwise7RPG I’ll look into this and give a review soon

@OGCrimsonJester @Samwise7RPG Hmmmm.
I dunno man. Im at least a little leary.

@Gingerblast @GhostComicsPast I find that if a campaign has a good structure for evil characters It's easier for me to play that way. Playing a Legate making sacrifices to a black mirror in Izrador's name made sense in the Midnight Setting (religious structure). Military campaigns have mission structure.

@CondorDM82 Three of the players are 11, 12, and 14 (my son) so I give the older players credit for having patience with them. It is cool when they have fresh ideas mixed with the older players' paranoia and long-term gamer wisdom.
One step at a time for building the club back up. :)

I am glad you are putting in the effort. That is a shame. People adjusted their lives and once you create a new situation it is hard for people to get out of it and return to how it was. So I get it. Slowly you can get back there.
What you need to do is be there, so when people get that moment and look for it again, people like you are there and it can slowly build back up.
It won't be fast, but hang in there.
Glad you got something going regardless, value it, enjoy it and let it keep you coming back.
Patience is your super power here, and people will remember you for holding the fort down and bringing it back to life.

I'm prepping for a big battle in my B/X D&D campaign and I've opted to use Birthright battle cards. I need to make some Kobold cards and one for a dragon as well. #Birthright

English

@JohnFort68 They loved that a larger battle was raging all around them as they focused their attention on the undead dragon and a Lich. It was epic, and surprisingly only 2 characters died.
English

@JohnFort68 I can't wait to see what the players think of them.

@CondorDM82 I was having trouble bringing RPGs back to my Pittsburgh gaming club after Covid. Attendance has been down and it's mostly a card game, miniature game, and boardgame club now. My buddy got a patent/kid's 5E game going, and I picked an older edition to get the grognards back. :)
English

@FortuitousBob It was fun having the battle raging on as the players were fighting their own smaller battles. I'll have to remember to do this in the future. It felt very cinematic.
English

@Samwise7RPG I never collected Birthright, but I did get to play a little some time ago. LOVE their mass combat system.
