The rain was so loud I had to turn the TV all the way up!!! Picked up a a sweet 2.18" so far today since 5:30pm. Unreal that this is exciting. It's not unusual for me to get 4" every afternoon. Usually would be at 35" for the year. LET IT RAIN!!!!!

In 1962, Brendon Grimshaw purchased Moyenne Island in the Seychelles for roughly $11,000. At the time, the small island was completely barren and uninhabited. Over the following decades, Grimshaw dedicated his life to restoring its ecosystem. He personally planted more than 16,000 trees, created walking trails, and reintroduced endangered species — most notably giant Aldabra tortoises — transforming the once-desolate island into a lush, thriving nature sanctuary. Despite numerous offers from wealthy developers eager to turn the island into a luxury resort, Grimshaw consistently refused. He famously rejected a $50 million bid, determined to keep Moyenne Island as a protected natural haven open for people to enjoy rather than a private commercial venture. In 2009, his vision was permanently secured when Moyenne Island was incorporated into the Sainte Anne Marine National Park, becoming the smallest national park in the world. Grimshaw lived on the island until his death in 2012, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of conservation and environmental stewardship that continues to protect this unique paradise for future generations.

What's going on across New York tonight is a disgrace. A sickening display that should embarrass every 'leader' in our city government. A phalanx of 500 police officers should not be needed to protect a synagogue from a violent mob of masked jihadis carrying the flags of designated terror organizations. Make no mistake -- this is exactly what Mamdani was elected to facilitate. It had nothing to do with free busses or public services or the 'working class' or anything else lied about during his campaign. It was always about a revolutionary vanguard led by the Islamist-Marxist alliance to bring chaos to their political enemies in naked power plays that are meant to clearly announce who's now in charge here. When they say 'every issue is Palestine' this is what they mean. When they say 'globalize the intifada' this is what they mean. This is it. This is what New York now has to look forward to. And it's going to get much worse. For Jews, for homeowners, for businesses, for executives and banks and restaurants and everyone who isn't part of their radical nexus. Nobody is safe. Everyone will be targeted. And they will continue to escalate, likely until they start killing people. All as the mayor looks on and smiles. Our City Council should now call for a massive investigation into who organizes and funds these groups with the exact same vigor they used to futilely investigate 'islamophobia' on social media. But they won't, because they already know the answer and don't have any real interest in stopping any of it. Fact is your tax dollars fund a great deal of this illegal activity through New York's multibillion dollar nonprofit-industrial complex, and a great many staffers and appointees of both the Mamdani administration and the City Council have close ties to these people. You get exactly the government you vote for, and the fact is a shocking number of New Yorkers want exactly this kind of terror to permeate our streets. And for that, they elected exactly the man for the job. Be prepared for what comes next. Because it's not going to get any better.

Damn My wife’s dad was just involved in a serious accident inPuerto Rico. His car was struck by an ambulance. Rushed to the ER. Prayers appreciated. 🙏

Wife’s dad underwent surgery. Recovery in ICU and doing okay. My wife spoke with him on the phone. He’s inhis 60’s and worked in construction/contracting. Strong as a ox which probably had plenty to do with his recovery.

The Everglades fire is not overly impressive tbh. And what you can see is a bunch of garbage malalucas that need to burn and stop wrecking view! I will walk out here in week or two to show the gorgious new sawgrass shoots and discuss Everglades health
