Muslim immigrants are pushing for these things in Various places and nothing is wrong for them to follow thise rules but trying to pass laws to ban others eating pork, or owning dogs. In a perfect world there could be a Halal restaurant next to a Texas BBQ place next to a Kosher restaurant.

Sharia law is an Islamic law that governs things in Islamic society. Morality, food, pets, and clothing are things on the surface; if you want to follow those rules, that is fine. Forcing others to live by those rules are not fine. Honor killings, stoning, throwing gays off of buildings, beating women and children, and beheading are not acceptable punishments in American Society. Anything deemed to be Haram in the UK, like eating pork, owning a dog, etc is starting to be banned in the UK.
