Donald Trump sat for a two-hour interview with the New York Times last night. With not just one reporter or two. But four. No handlers at his side screening out hard questions. No note cards with softball questions written down in advance. Just two hours with four hostile reporters. Biden and Kamala never did this. It’s laughable to think about them trying. Their press aides had them locked down like Fort Knox, and even sympathetic reporters (which were most of them) never got unfiltered access. Whether you love Trump or hate him, you’ve got to respect this. There’s no one else like the guy, and there probably never will be again.

EVERY SINGLE PRESIDENT SINCE TRUMAN has ordered at least one military strike or combat operation without new, specific prior authorization from Congress.

MP3, I sign everything I write in all forums with my initial, "w.", for three reasons.
• I do it to remind myself that unlike you hiding behind a screen name, I post under my own name. As a result, in the future I may have to defend what I wrote, so I need to be very careful in choosing my words.
• I do it to make my writings recognizable in any context. My name is hard to remember and impossible to pronounce, but folks remember "That guy who always signs his work with a w."
• I do it to irritate the online Karens who can't stand it if people color outside the lines and who want to tell everyone they should only do what they themselves do.
Looks like I'm three for three today …

Holy shit.
Police just arrested a woman for protesting and saying, “This isn’t just a foreign issue, it’s our tax dollars being used to commit war crimes,” in reference to Venezuela.
If that speech is enough to put you in handcuffs, then the problem isn’t public safety.
It’s dissent.
The First Amendment doesn’t die all at once.
It gets strangled in moments like this.
