We had so much fun at the Sanderstead Community Day. Great to speak with so many residents (and pick up casework) and very good to hear that the newly re-laid footpath on the Rec is just the first of two phases.

On Saturday, the Met Police deployed a Live Facial Recognition van in Croydon Town Centre. In just a few hours, officers made 7 arrests and engaged with several more individuals. #saferCroydon

Great to get a sneak peek inside the old Allders - an iconic part of Croydon’s past - and see first-hand the progress now being made to bring it back to life. This autumn, seven new units will open in the refurbished shopfront, breathing fresh energy into the North End. The line-up includes a modest fashion retailer, florist, independent café, sweet treats, high street lifestyle offer and a national service provider. As someone who regularly visited Allders with my family as a child, this milestone feels especially significant. And this is just the start - the wider @urw_group masterplan will reshape the rest of this key site, driving forward the bold transformation of our town centre. #ConfidenceInCroydon

Lovely time at today's Rotary Sanderstead and Selsdon Hobby Fair at St John's Community Hall on Selsdon Road. We also tried the home-made cakes (wow!) and came away with a few treats too.
