Today is #WorldSepsisDay. Sepsis is a life-threatening reaction to an infection. It happens when the immune system overreacts to an infection and starts to damage the body’s own tissues and organs. It can be hard to spot, so get clued up on the symptoms. ⤵️

Today is world sepsis day. Always ask ‘could it be sepsis?’ We’ve spoken today to our colleagues about sepsis awareness and identifying deterioration. Always be aware of the soft signs and remember clinical intuition. @KUttley @WeAreLSCFT

Building a sense of belonging is a key task for leaders who seek to help people feel engaged at work & to create the conditions for change.
