does anyone know how to make a living as an artist

"Your medieval ancestors were based warrior-pilled aristocrats" and "your medieval ancestors worked 18 hours a day and all died before 30" are both locked in an endless struggle to determine who got their brain the most fried up

Yes. If you hate Jews, literally the most persecuted people on Earth- then get the fuck out.

@TheStageSystum It’s because the store gets timed for how long a car sits in the drive thru. The longer a car waits the worse it looks for the store so they prioritize drive thru orders.

Tolerating anti-semitic remarks in our movement makes it harder to build a mass pro-Palestine movement in the US, it's not that complicated

I come from Tamil Nadu in India. We don't speak Hindi. In fact we make it a point never to learn Hindi. We literally tell North Indians who come to our state: 'Hindi theriyadhu poda' ("I don't know Hindi, fuck off") We're one of the two most successful states in India rn

AIPAC deliberately put a target on this girl’s back - so that progressives, who didn’t even know she was a candidate until this moment, would run and mob her (either doubting her anti-AIPAC position or now demanding she drop out of the race). It’s so transparent what happened here.

Mayor Mamdani says his wife, Rama Duwaji, was not aware of anti-Israel posts (like calling some Israeli citizens “parasites”) from an author she illustrated an essay for. Mamdani calls that rhetoric “reprehensible” and says his wife booked the gig thru a 3rd party

The young have typically tended to vote on the left, seeing it as a vote against the status quo and the establishment, before gradually moving to the right as they got older. But things are changing. In France’s latest elections, Marine Le Pen won more youth votes than the left, while Donald Trump’s youth vote in the last US election was a third higher than in 2020. Should these new rebels be listened to as a challenge to a failed establishment? Or does this signal a breakdown of the traditional left–right divide? Join House of Lords member Thangam Debonnaire, Reform UK politician Matt Goodwin, critical theorist Louisa Munch, and politics professor Eric Kaufmann in Hay-on-Wye this Spring to debate what this shift means for the future of left-right politics. There is no stronger ideology in China than Sinocentric nationalism. New generations of Chinese leaders will inevitably steer China in that direction. When nationalism combines with socialism, it could easily evolve into Han Chinese supremacist fascism—a prospect that worries me.

One of the saddest parts of the Davidson incident. He has some fame due to his activism, but the man is still a disabled janitor. But he was broadcast to the world, & some people still talk about him like he has immense power & privilege relative to the wealthy celebs there.
