THE THEFT MAY ALREADY BE UNDERWAY
While we are all busy arguing about transparent ballot boxes and 'guarding the vote' in 2027, the real stealing may not even be there.
There are growing stories from ordinary Kenyans, people who have never registered suddenly discovering their ID numbers are already on the voters’ register. Others find their details completely mixed up with wrong faces, wrong polling station, even wrong fingerprints. If this confusion is showing up in a small group of just 50 people, imagine what is hiding inside the full list of 22 million or more names in the IEBCs roll.
It is not a small mistake but a perfect tool for stealing an election long before any ballot is cast. Here is how it works:
Targeted Deletion and Secret Transfers
These errors can be used as an excuse to quietly remove names especially in opposition strongholds. At the same time, they can shift a voter’s polling station without telling them. A man from Ukambani wakes up on election day and discovers his details now say he must vote in Garissa. He cannot travel there. His vote simply disappears. Multiply that with a fraction of 22m voters and you're staring at a million votes.
Ghost Voters
When one ID number is linked to several different people, the system creates ready-made ghosts. On voting day, someone can walk in, use that ID, and cast a ballot. The ghost votes are already inside the register with no questions asked.
Biometrics Exploit
If your details are mixed up, the KIEMS kits will not recognise you. It will force manual voting. That opens the door for one person to vote many times and for ghost voters to be ticked off without anyone noticing.
Everyone keeps repeating the same comforting line that 'Once the results are announced at the polling station, they cannot be changed'......but nobody is asking the more dangerous question: HOW DO WE KNOW THOSE RESULTS ARE GENUINE IN THE FIRST PLACE?
The numbers that will be announced on election night will look clean and official, but many of the names behind those numbers could never be traced physically. This is exactly what happens in Zimbabwe for decades. The voter roll became a work of fiction, full of ghosts in one place.
Election theft is not coming in 2027. It is already here.
