"Why is Morgan McSweeney the only person in the modern world who doesn't have his phone backed up?" Bridget Phillipson smiles and effortlessly pretends this perfectly reasonable point is a "conspiracy theory". The level of gaslighting here is truly astonishing.

✨ A fantastic day with the brilliant @paulbristow79 and Peterborough Conservatives, including John Peach, Alex Rafiq and Ivelina Banyalieva! Only the Conservatives have a real plan for Peterborough’s future - working with Paul to get things done. 🔵#VoteConservative on 7 May.

🚨 KEMI SHUTS IT DOWN — AGAIN 🚨 GB News tries another hit on Kemi Badenoch, raising claims from Suella Braverman about not being supported in proscribing the IRGC when she was a Tory cabinet member. Kemi’s response? Immediate and decisive — that excuse doesn’t wash. She makes it clear: cabinet members with real plans got things done. If it didn’t happen, the responsibility lies with the person in charge — not everyone else. Enough of the excuses. Time for accountability. 🇬🇧💥

I’ve seen Prime Minsters dodge questions before. But I’ve never seen one literally and repeatedly just ignore what they’ve been asked. If this is what Starmer’s going to do, what’s the point.

Keir Starmer is literally doing a press conference today where he is blatantly lying and gaslighting the nation. Labour have NOT brought inflation down to 3%. It was 2% under the Conservatives at the last general election. Labour have INCREASED inflation to 3%. Facts matter.

It wasn't. We were told Reform were in with a chance of winning the seat. They didn't even come close. They will continue to be major disruptors, and a serious political force. But there is now no prospect of them winning an election outright. They have hit their ceiling.
Arron Banks@Arron_banks

The result last night was terrific for Reform, in an area with a very high Muslim population. The conservatives had their worse ever result in a by election. With the left split between Green & Labour, Reform must destroy the Conservative Party & unite the centre right. Roll on May..

For all of this century it’s always been easier for young folks to find work in the UK than in the EU, where youth unemployment rates were consistently higher than UK. It explains why so many young, educated, ambitious Europeans flocked to the UK to work, much to our mutual benefit. These days are over. Britain’s youth unemployment rate has risen above Europe’s for the first time: unemployment among 16 to 24-year-olds jumped to 15.3% in the three months to September, surpassing the EU’s rate of 15pc, according to the OECD. It marks the first time youth unemployment in Britain has been higher than in the bloc since records began in 2000. Labour policies — especially pushing up the minimum wage too much — are to blame. Even the Bank of England says minimum wage increases for pricing young people out of work. But raising national insurance contributions has also crippled many industries that employed young folks. Thanks Starmer-Reeves. Another fine success story.
