The aim of the paper is to produce an index score that assesses multiple conditions that affect the mouth while also taking into to account missing data. It can be applied to pre-existing data and will allow us to compare health between communities more easily!

A great summary of our recent #interdisciplinary #Archaeology led research using #metabolomics to identify past #tobacco users, and showing that tobacco use in Edwardian and Victorian women was more common than historic narratives suggest.

Really enjoyed talking about our #squirrels research on #leprosy using a #Onehealth approach centred on archaeological remains. Amazing what one tiny bone from the 10th/11th century can tell us and its importance for now!
