I defended my PhD thesis on monday and I don’t feel as overjoyed as I thought I would be. I am super relieved but it was kinda anticlimactic to be honest. I have heard several people feel the same way. Does anyone else feel similarly? And why? @AcademicChatter @OpenAcademics

How was your "day after" you finished your PhD? I'm referring literally to the day after, what did you do?

Definitely a case where I prefer the movies to the books. Maybe because I saw the movies first, but Julie Andrews as the queen can’t be beat by the mean book grandma / queen.

Mattress surfing is still life goals tbh.

Still a complete classic. Pretty sure this is the first movie I saw in theaters.

@Coffee_Is_love My first year of grad school (22 and 3k miles from home) my mom sent me an Easter basket. I kept the basket and now she just sends the candy and I fill it myself! Still going strong at 27…

My husband says my 15 and a half year old son is too old for an Easter basket. I still did one anyway. What are your Thoughts?
