Today I realised that all the digital/IT teams that have supported their orgs to get their staff working from home have not only kept their staff safe but helped to flatten the curve and that is incredible #BigUpDigitalTeams

HELP! Who do I know who is doing good stuff around End of Life Care/ Policy in the NHS? I need in. My Death Doula course was indescribably amazing and I need to connect into other people doing amazing stuff in this space.

💡 This week I saw a post about valuing hierarchy over efficiency and I realised this is the NHS! We’re SO busy prioritising processes and communications etc that maintain the hierarchy that we can’t be efficient. IT MADE EVERYTHING MAKE SENSE.

Are any ICS’ starting to look at/ think about the Digital Switchover and linked in with their local authorities to work on it?

@rs_fullerton Having worked in healthcare and now local gov on virtual care there is no one size fits all currently. My utopia would be a joint social care and health central hub that pulls together a view of all the digital devices being used.

@jayvaysay @WestMids5G Ah interestingly my though process was based on some work I’m doing with @wmadass and @RethinkPartners about the digital switch over and how it has so many links into wider vulnerability and inclusion work. Might be worth linking in with ADASS??

@SarahBoydWork we (@westmids5g) have spoken to a few places that want to look at this and we have offered to convene and help them look holistically but would love to bring a network together on this because not sure there is a silver bullet single answer yet (or ever??)

Anyone out there in ICS or Council land doing good joined up stuff around inclusion, telecare, digital switch over etc. Seems to be good stuff in each area but nothing looking holistically across them all.

I can’t lie. I couldn’t get to the end. It’s so heart breaking and rage inducing and it ends with a young girl dying needlessly. The lack of accountability and sincere apologies just piles on the mistakes already made. A must read for consultants who’s egos rule their world.
