I came across this mini documentary called "Going Home" by Wonderbag and it really conjured up some deep emotions in me. I don't share other people's content very often but I really would urge you to watch this one ❤️ For many South Africans who have left their rural hometowns in search of better opportunities, returning home is an important tradition. Going home is also a heartwarming experience that makes all the hard work in the big city worthwhile. And what better way for families to reconnect than over a home-cooked meal? This documentary chronicles the journey of Qaqamba Ntshinka, a woman from rural Eastern Cape who works and lives in Cape Town and returns home every year to reunite with her family. Qaqamba represents the many South Africans who sacrifice months without seeing their loves ones to create a more prosperous future for themselves. I also think this is wonderful content creation from @WonderbagO as they aid her in providing better opportunities for her family too. Just so you know, this is not a paid for plug in any way. I just found this piece of content to be truly heart-warming and felt the conviction to share it with all of you. That said, you can visit recipeforchange.co.za to find out more info.
