From Cato: The Trump administration has repeatedly misled courts and ignored their orders in immigration cases, a new analysis by David Bier shows. This pattern weakens the rule of law and erodes trust in the legal system.

Mass protests happening across the United States against the Trump regime. Here you have New York, Florida, DC, Ohio.
All 50 states expected to have protests. #3E #Handsoff #FiftyFiftyOne

Today in every state across our nation, Americans are standing up to the administration as they implement Project 2025 at full speed.
Thank you for using your voices and the power of protest to stand for Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid; for the Department of Education and programs like Head Start; for clean air and water; for the right to make decisions about your own body without government interference.
The voices of working people will always be louder than the unelected billionaires.

@Rig I know, I own and read the game. It’s athe edition brings something to the game that cannot be and I do in fact still find it boring.
English

@SarahDarkmagic Bear in mind that Wanderhome has literally zero violence or physical conflict at all beyond the single line mechanic of the Veteran. This mechanic does not sit in a traditional rpg framework in context. Its not boring at all.
English

This sounds so incredibly boring to me to be honest and I’m not a murder hobo D&D player.
It’s again a long discussion that doesn’t actually interact with the point being argued with and universalizes the pov of the person making the argument.

To contrast, let's look at The Veteran playbook from @jdragsky's Wanderhome. The Veteran has an ability that says "you can draw your sword and kill the person in front of you. If you do this, you cannot play this character anymore."

Art journal page I did for my class. Image on left is from Publisher’s Choice Stock Art. The Medusa Head by Godfried Maes. Map collage by Dyson Logos.
The stock art is based on Owen Stephens. He is facing cancer and could use our help. More info: gofund.me/a12f60f6

@Nerdpreneurpod @MarkMeredith So you also talked to the people she hurt, not just in the cases others have cited where she was allegedly “cancelled” but also in her silence over other people she has championed in the past that have hurt people?
English

@MarkMeredith @satinephoenix Mark, I hear you, and we're always interested in hearing all sides of the story. We heard Satine and we've done independent research on the events from over a year ago. Give the episode a listen, part 1 is where she talks about what happened.

Hey #DnD
We just interviewed @satinephoenix
Part 1 or this 2-part episode dropped on all podcast apps

@laura_hirsb @Goblinkatie Oh gosh, the number of times I saw people repeating things that were about me without knowing that they were about me, spread by bad actors. And also how often I’d have to show I wrote positive stuff more often than negative. It’s a real struggle.
English

@mudbunny74 Don’t disagree. It’s interesting to me because 5e in particular was at least partially designed to be flexible and extensible. 4e, where I fell in love with D&D was intended to leave a lot of space outside of combat to the table.
English

@SarahDarkmagic I think equally important (and it may only be a distinction in my brain) is what the system was designed to do.
