@jk_rowling Why you find it so hard to let her be? I would not challenge her because: 1) Biology is wonderfully variable and far more than what you see. Just ask the BMA. 2) She is statistically less of a threat than any random male Pedalling fear & hate makes everyone less safe. Stop it

Do women fail to challenge trans-identified man Robin Moira White (left) when he enters female only spaces because: A) they think he's a fellow woman? B) they know he's a man but consider him harmless? or C) they know what can happen to women who say 'no' to large, entitled men?

Social skills groups have "null effect" despite being the most used social skills interventions for Autistic children/yp. #Ableism #Discrimination Autistic social skills are valid and effective. Focus on building acceptance of diversity in communication styles instead.
Michelle Dawson@autismcrisis

Social skills group programs (SSGPs) are "the most used social skills interventions" for autistics aged 6-18 years? link.springer.com/article/10.100… but this systematic review "found an overall null effect for SSGPs considering outcomes from various categories, including social skills"

Autism and ADHD Book Guide - for children and young people! 📚 Many of these books have been a source of comfort for me, and I hope they may be just as valuable for someone else too. Note: I have done my best to check the suitability of these books for different ages, but if purchasing for a child or young person, please research yourself to confirm it is appropriate for their age and understanding.

This is not a problem that should be blamed on children or families, or teachers. We are clearly getting it fundamentally wrong for HUGE numbers of young people who will create our future. I wonder what we are creating here? #stopthefines Howabout listening instead?
Tim Linehan@timlinehan

Home education is up 20% from 92k to 111k in the last 12 months according to govt data published today. More children leaving education. More exclusions. More severely absent children. We need to rethink education. …e-education-statistics.service.gov.uk/find-statistic…

So often families (usually Mothers) fight to keep support and services use inappropriate and traumatic ways of NOT providing what is needed and has been legally agreed. Ella was so scared & not listened to. It should have been about what she needs. #parentblame

‘Joey’ ink on paper / airbrush. Keeping eye contact is painful for some autistic people, I often find that the only true eye to eye contact I hold is through the mutual gaze of those I am painting. I see the soul but it doesn’t see me. #AutismAwareness @AnnaKennedy1 @lemnsissay
