@CJSimone333 10k is incredible—congratulations!! 🎉 Love seeing thriller authors win like this.

@KMFollett Sometimes.
But the strange part is—it fades out anyway.
After a while it’s just… the place.
The air, the water, the silence.
Everything else disappears.

@Artoonicreati0n Definitely. Louisiana has such a layered history that it almost feels like another character in the story. That hidden past definitely shapes the themes I explore.
English

@SarahMayIsom I can imagine Louisiana has such a rich history and atmosphere. Do you think that hidden history influences the themes in your stories too?
English

@Artoonicreati0n Definitely the history! You would be amazed by the hidden history of the Louisiana ☺️
English

@SarahMayIsom Totally some places just spark creativity. New Orleans must be full of inspiring vibes! Is it the atmosphere, the people, or the history that inspires your scenes most?
English

@PetraKidd Sounds intriguing. Stories that leave you asking “What would I do?” always stay with you.

@lhallwriter Four books across four different genres is impressive. Do you find switching genres refreshing as a writer, or does each one require a completely different mindset?
English

@lhallwriter Yes… but anything written by hand usually ends up being top secret. Thriller writer habit.
Curious how many writers still keep a notebook for ideas.
English

@Artoonicreati0n Absolutely. Some places almost feel like they’re holding a story if you slow down long enough to notice it. New Orleans has inspired a few scenes for me already.
Since you create illustrated portraits and comic-style art, do certain places ever inspire you?
English

@SarahMayIsom That’s a great way to put it sometimes the best ideas really do come from places you didn’t plan for. A fresh setting can change your whole perspective. Has any place ever inspired a specific scene or story idea for you? ✍️
English

@Artoonicreati0n A bit of both. Sometimes you travel somewhere specific, and other times the place finds you first. Either way, it’s amazing how quickly a new setting can reset your thinking.
English

@SarahMayIsom I get that completely sometimes a change of scenery is the best way to reset the mind. Even small shifts can spark new ideas. Do you usually travel somewhere specific for inspiration, or just wherever the mood takes you? 😊
English

@Artoonicreati0n Anywhere but "Here" is inspiration 😁 My mind stagnates after a while!
English

@SarahMayIsom Venice sounds like a perfect escape so inspiring! I love how a change of scenery can really spark ideas. Do you usually find your best writing inspiration when you’re somewhere new, or in a familiar spot?
